Pocket Sun
Co-Founder & Managing Partner, SoGal Ventures
Co-founded the first female-led "next-gen" VC firm, focused on consumer and future of work.
Pocket Sun co-founded SoGal Ventures with Elizabeth Galbut in 2015, building what the firm describes as the first female-led next-generation VC firm, investing across the US and Asia rather than staying US-only like most funds in this directory.
She focuses on consumer and future-of-work investing within the fund’s 100+ portfolio companies, which include Everlywell, Function of Beauty and Lovevery, and has spoken publicly about acquisitions among SoGal’s holdings including Tueo Health (acquired by Apple) and Kitt.ai (acquired by Baidu).
Co-built one of the longest-running women-led VC firms in the category, investing across both the US and Asia since 2015.
