Almost every list tells founders who will fund them. We do the opposite — a hub for the women writing the cheques: angels, syndicate leads, LPs and the GPs running their own funds.
Women are the fastest-growing group of investors in venture — yet the guides, rankings and networks built for them are scattered across blog posts and closed communities. Women VC Fund pulls the investor-side of the market into one place: who the funds are, what the data says, and how to start.

On this site it means one of two things: a fund founded or led by women (they own and run the firm), or a generalist fund with a woman as a check-writing General Partner. Our directory tags each fund so you can tell them apart.
No — and that is the point. Most directories answer “who funds female founders.” We focus on the other side of the table: women who deploy capital as angels, syndicate leads, LPs and GPs.
You typically need to be an accredited investor to write a direct angel cheque or become an LP in most funds, but entry points vary — angel syndicates can start around $5,000, and some emerging-manager funds set lower LP minimums on purpose. See our start-investing guide for how the paths compare.
Both are covered, and they are different things — see our angel vs. LP comparison. Since this site is about the VC-fund side specifically, our core guide is how to become an LP.
It is a curated, periodically-updated list built from public information. Theses and personnel change, so always confirm a fund’s current focus and status directly before acting.
